About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Life Reserving Actuary to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of actuarial systems, models, and tools used in regulatory reporting for solvency regimes and financial statements.

  1. We require a professional with 5-8 years of experience in Life reserving or pricing in the (re)insurance field or related actuarial experience with solid systems development or programming background.
  2. Prior experience of financial reporting with respect to regulatory reporting regimes including USGAAP LDTI, IFRS 17, SII, BMA, MAS, VIF would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain actuarial systems, models, and tools used in regulatory reporting for solvency regimes and financial statements.
  • Work closely with IT and life actuarial teams to implement changes to the modelling architecture.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of actuarial science and statistical principles.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as R, SQL, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
