RTR Senior Accountant: A Key Role in Global Finance



About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of RTR Senior Accountant. As a key member of our global finance team, you will be responsible for managing general ledger accounting and serving as the primary relationship manager for one or more entities within our organization.



Responsibilities
  • Develop Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to Service Standards: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define service standards and manage partnership agreements.
  • Establish KPIs and Improve Processes: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain Financial Integrity: Ensure compliance with worldwide Controller's manual and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Review and Post Transactions: Timely and accurately review and post month-end close and accounting transactions.
  • Ensure GAAP Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Support Audits: Interact successfully with internal and external auditors and provide timely and accurate data and communication.
  • Evaluate and Improve Processes: Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements.


Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification from a recognized body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a shared service environment.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with an additional major European language beneficial (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian).
