Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a General Arrangement Draftsperson/BIM Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the production of multi-discipline models, drawings and schedules
  • Ensure design development aligns with the project BIM execution plan, including regular coordination and model checks
  • Liaise between designers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Attend and contribute to model coordination meetings, maintaining model integrity and ensuring design intent is reflected accurately
  • Liaise with project teams to understand project needs and timelines
  • Produce drawings with limited supervision or direction from Engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or strong trades background coupled with a BIM qualification
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience within a BIM Co-ordination function
  • Mechanical or Electrical background and have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Technical Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM360/ACC Docs environments, and BIM coordination workflows, clash detection, and model sharing protocols
