Job Description

We are seeking a Scientific Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support, method development and validation, technology transfer, testing activities, compliance, audits, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Assist analysts in resolving operational, technical, and analytical issues within the laboratory.
  • Method Development and Validation: Lead the development and optimization of analytical methods, and complete method validation in line with current regulatory expectations.
  • Technology Transfer: Participate in cross-functional meetings, acquire method/equipment requirements, and facilitate procurement and installation of new equipment.
  • Testing Activities: Liaise with customers and internal teams to schedule work that meets customer objectives. Perform routine analysis, data review, and troubleshooting.
  • Compliance: Maintain laboratory notebooks, calibrate equipment, and ensure validation documentation is signed off before use.
  • Audits: Prepare and support the laboratory for internal and external inspections.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Represent the laboratory in internal and external teams, ensuring timely completion of project achievements.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GMP requirements, method validation, and technology transfer processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to mentor and coach team members.
