Job Overview

As a key member of our produce team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

This leadership position demands a strong focus on operational excellence, quality control, and inventory management. You will be responsible for leading the produce department, maintaining product freshness through regular culling and rotation, and ensuring all products meet our high standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing inventory proactively, analyzing data to identify opportunities for process improvements, and executing timely replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.

A valid food safety certification is required, and we will provide any necessary training or support.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Product Data and Sales: Track and analyze sales, waste, and shrink data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Sanitation and Safety Compliance: Maintain compliance with all sanitation, safety, and food handling regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Seasonal Promotional Execution: Assist in the execution of promotional plans and merchandising directives.
  • Report Operational Concerns: Escalate operational concerns and equipment maintenance needs to management as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
  • Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
