Regulatory Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Risk Consultant to join our growing Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, while benefiting from a strong culture of inclusion, support, and collaboration across borders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience within risk and compliance consulting in a Financial Services environment. They will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work on their own initiative and provide guidance to others.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of some risk and compliance regulatory areas, including PSD, Consumer Protection Code, Investor Protection, Fitness and Probity, etc. They will also have knowledge of challenges and developments within the banking industry.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management of client relationships, including high quality service delivery and coordination of service offerings from other departments.
  • Growing knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations of our clients.
  • Leading assignments with clients in the areas of regulatory change and support, regulatory investigations and due diligence, and regulatory assurance, compliance monitoring and internal audit.
  • Reporting into senior leadership, working towards the achievement of departmental goals and targets.
  • Involvement in firm / department / practice development and marketing initiatives.
  • Managing and developing junior team members.
  • Supporting business development initiatives through preparing assignment proposals, thought leadership articles and representing our firm at conferences.
