Lead Developer Position

A highly experienced and adaptable full-stack developer is required for this unique opportunity to take on a Lead Development role, combining hands-on coding with systems maintenance and leadership responsibilities.

Job Description:

As a lead developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality applications using PHP. This will involve collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver new features and product enhancements, as well as writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code aligned with SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless system integration, managing and optimizing MySQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning, and documenting system architecture, workflows, and processes to ensure operational knowledge continuity.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • At least 5 years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on PHP.
  • Expertise with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Slim.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software architecture.
  • Experience with MySQL database design, management, and optimization.
  • Skilled in RESTful API development and integration.
  • Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and perform peer code reviews.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
