Bookkeeper Position

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our skilled team. As a trusted business advisor, you will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Posting monthly sales invoices and debtor receipts for clients
  • Posting monthly purchase invoices and creditors payments for clients
  • Posting of non-debtor receipts and non-creditor payments to relevant bank accounts
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly payroll and submission to Revenue
  • Preparation and filing of Vat returns to Revenue for clients
  • Preparation and filing of Payroll to Revenue for clients
  • Preparation and filing of RCT returns for clients
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of Company Secretarial returns for Limited Companies
  • Ad hoc duties on request
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Accounts Technician or similar qualification
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Experience with a range of accounting packages an advantage
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Proven experience as a team player
  • Experience with Relate and Xero is an advantage
