Role Overview
This is a Motor Injury Claims Handler position where you will be responsible for handling injury or liability cases. The role involves assessing information about claims, implementing strategies to achieve fair settlements, and delivering business objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Caseload Management: You will manage a portfolio of cases to ensure each case is reserved appropriately in line with established standards and procedures.
- Settlements and Referrals: Proactively manage cases to achieving settlement within designated authority levels, and refer claims outside limits to others promptly.
- Risk Assessment: Assess claims against relevant criteria and experience to identify potential issues and involve others as appropriate to minimise leakage and protect the business's interests.
- Customer Interaction: Manage customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Supplier Management: Organise and use approved internal and/or external suppliers to drive proactive settlement of claims.
- Team Development: Contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues to raise standards and expertise across the team.
