Commercial Finance Role

This is a high-impact commercial finance role that offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions, partner cross-functionally, and drive performance across the development portfolio.

  • Evaluate site-level performance through detailed project appraisals and participate in monthly Commercial Review Meetings, focusing on financial performance and variance analysis.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling in support of the FP&A manager and the Head of Commercial Finance. Deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and risk/opportunity assessments.

  • Partner with Cost Planning, QS, Construction, Planning, and Business Development teams to align financial insights with operational decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the enterprise, translating financial data into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Develop data-driven insights using tools like Power BI and Excel.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects focused on process optimisation and smarter ways of working.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified financial professional with strong commercial finance experience. They will have proven ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights and possess excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Analytical thinker with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
