Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled operative to join our team. As a General Operative, you will play a key role in our busy operations team, reporting to the Post-Production Supervisor.

This dynamic position involves carrying out final surface finishing works on precast products, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will be responsible for operating hand tools and equipment such as gantry cranes when required.

Your tasks will include:

  • Carrying out final surface finishing works on precast products
  • Ensuring products are finished in line with quality standards
  • Operating hand tools
  • Operating lifting and site transportation equipment, including gantry cranes, when required
  • Assisting and supporting in other aspects of the post-production process
  • Maintaining a clean and clutter-free workspace
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity while adhering to quality specifications
  • Acting as a role model for health and safety practices within the team

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing or construction industries, trade qualifications, or previous experience in plastering or product finishing.

You will need to have awareness and respect for health and safety rules and procedures, keen attention to detail, pride in workmanship, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, enthusiasm and motivation, flexibility of duties and working hours, and good timekeeping and attendance records.
