Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Community Nurse to join our team in the Connacht region. As a Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.

Your primary focus will be on delivering clinical services that meet best practice standards, while maintaining accurate electronic patient records and ensuring timely reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic nursing professional who is able to work effectively as part of a team, using their clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide a seamless service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients in an effective and caring manner.
  • Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
  • Deliver reports promptly after each visit.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cannulation & Phlebotomy Skills Essential.
  • Demonstrable IV therapy experience including care of central venous access devices.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Effective administrator with attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Demonstrable computer skills in Word and email.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build good rapport with new contacts.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Sound judgement.
