The automotive industry is undergoing a revolution with the acceleration of autonomous driving, connectivity, and electrification. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise to help develop robust software in our vehicles.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Defining and tracking software test backlogs of dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Ensuring that the test environment is defined, test requirements are available, and communication channels are established with Test Platforms/Enablers to deliver the test environment on time.
- Continuously monitoring and controlling software test activities.
- Maintaining a skills matrix of software test qualification squad to track required needs to achieve software qualification test strategy and highlighting this to the Software Test Chapter Lead.
- Maintaining close communication with the Software Test Chapter Lead.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on testing of software applications.
- 3+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented language.
- Experienced advocate for practices such as Test Driven Development and Pair Programming.
- Experience with source code management and version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
- Experience with modern CI/CD tools and techniques.
