About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will lead and support existing site EHS programs, including chemical management, environmental systems, and lab safety.
  • This includes ownership and maintenance of site environmental SOPs, participation in ISO audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The role also involves managing IE License compliance activities, acting as site representative for regulatory bodies, and monitoring wastewater treatment plant operations.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating waste management systems, conducting risk assessments, and analyzing EHS site data.
  • This position offers autonomy and ownership for assigned projects/areas/programs, while having the support of an experienced EHS Team.

About You:

  • A 3rd level degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science or similar is required.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in an EPA regulated environment is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated environment are preferred.
  • A solid understanding of EHS legislation & ISO requirements is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
