Academic Operations Specialist

This role is to assist in delivering academic programs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Organising the timetabling and scheduling of academic programs.
- Liaising with academic staff, hospital consultants and external lecturers to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational experiences.
- Assisting academic staff/lecturers with the formation of teaching presentations and materials.
- Assisting in the preparation of lectures, podcasts, handouts and other teaching materials as required.
- Liaising with other staff to ensure the availability of teaching spaces.
- Organising student attendance at clinical events and other teaching & learning activities.
- Co-ordinating research attachments and electives for students.
- Administering online platforms for teaching and learning - including the uploading of all teaching material and module exams.
- Liaising with the Student Academic & Regulatory Affairs department in the co-ordination of the teaching schedule, examinations and continuous assessment.
- Liaising with other departments as directed by senior management in organising and implementing undergraduate teaching.
- Representing the best interests of the institution at all times.
