Knowledge Centre Coordinator

The main responsibility of the Knowledge Centre Coordinator is to provide academic and research support to participants, enabling them to optimize their learning journey.

Specifically, the coordinator will:

  • Facilitate participants on credit-bearing programmes in accessing electronic resources through various databases.
  • Manage and curate library collections, including associated electronic resources and toolkits, by identifying, selecting, and evaluating resources to ensure they are current and meet customer needs.
  • Provide individual learner support in critical thinking, structuring assignments, sourcing material, and academic referencing.
  • Deliver in-class presentations and training on critical thinking, structuring assignments, sourcing material, and academic referencing.
  • Provide access to materials for non-credit-bearing programme participants.
  • Lead, train, and develop staff members who provide library support.
  • Develop a strategic plan to enhance the Knowledge Centre's services in line with IMI's objectives for academic quality, innovation, and growth.
  • Develop the service as a centre of excellence in learning, focusing on proactive reference services, online resource access, and digital learning support content.
  • Effectively market and promote library services and resources to maximise awareness and usage internally and externally.
  • Support member companies in accessing library resources.
