Senior Occupational Therapists play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality occupational therapy services, working closely with families and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Deliver expert occupational therapy interventions, including guidance and education for children, families and carers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care approaches
  • Evaluate and refine treatment plans, setting realistic goals and objectives
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Participate in service development initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in paediatrics, with expertise in working with children with complex disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse professionals
  • Full driving license required
