Children's Disability Network Team Occupational Therapist

Senior Occupational Therapists play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality occupational therapy services, working closely with families and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
- Deliver expert occupational therapy interventions, including guidance and education for children, families and carers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care approaches
- Evaluate and refine treatment plans, setting realistic goals and objectives
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members
- Participate in service development initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in paediatrics, with expertise in working with children with complex disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse professionals
- Full driving license required
