Site Engineering Position

About the Role:

  • This role is responsible for supporting the site manager/project manager in carrying out day-to-day site functions.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and developing projects.
  • Key responsibilities include coordination of subcontractors, monitoring and controlling health and safety standards on site, and liaising with the design team on construction issues.
  • Other duties include raising RFIs with the design team, issuing requisitions for materials, maintaining the site diary/daily log activities, monitoring and controlling quality/work standards on site, managing concrete quality, and recording results.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be required to maintain goods received registers and possess strong setting out/levels experience.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should hold a degree qualification in engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (preferably with a main contractor).
  • Reinforced concrete works experience and building experience in commercial/industrial/educational sectors are essential requirements.
  • Knowledge of BIM is advantageous but not mandatory.
