Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and manufacture of highly potent APIs, leveraging their expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and knowledge of HPAPI handling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development projects in the high containment laboratory, including route scouting and development, proof-of-concept studies, crystallisation optimisation, and process safety assessments.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to support development for business needs, collaborating with Operations engineers to ensure successful implementation of laboratory-developed processes in the manufacturing plant.
  • Work with analytical R&D chemists to ensure appropriate methods are in place, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with R&D project leads, project management group, and other functions such as SHE, Operations, and Quality to ensure project milestones on HPAPI projects are delivered as per the project plan.
  • Ensure project documentation and campaign readiness activities are completed on time, collaborating with project engineering and R&D team to manufacture batches in the GMP kilo lab facility.
  • Assist in preparing Request for Information and Process RFIs/RFPs for new product introductions, working cross-functionally to ensure project success.
