Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional care to our residents. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of clinical and nursing care within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide clinical leadership, oversee daily practices, and ensure optimal staff management and development while collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Healthcare Manager.
  • Nursing Care: Deliver outstanding nursing and social care tailored to meet individual resident needs.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with policies and clinical standards, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Mentorship and Support: Mentor and support nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Medication Management: Oversee medication management in line with NMBI guidelines and internal policies.
  • Audits and Feedback: Conduct regular audits, provide feedback, and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Team Environment: Foster a cohesive team environment, encouraging collaboration and innovation in care practices.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing schedules, ensuring compliance with agreed staffing levels.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise effectively with the Support Team, multidisciplinary team, and residents' families.
  • Complaints and Resolution: Address and document complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Requirements
  • Registration and Experience: Registered with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBI) with an active PIN, minimum of 2 years' experience in a CNM role.
  • Leadership and Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Decision-Making: Proven ability to collaborate within a senior management team, excellent decision-making and motivational skills.
  • Independence and Motivation: Ability to work independently while fostering a positive team dynamic.
  • Results-Oriented Approach: Results-oriented approach with a commitment to quality care.
  • Support from Leadership: Comprehensive support from the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Director of Nursing (DON).
