Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automated Systems Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland.

The successful candidate will work on introducing and validating new equipment, improving existing processes, and supporting the adoption of novel technology.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to communicate complex ideas effectively, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated systems for equipment validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Work closely with Product Development to determine necessary hardware requirements for new products.
  • Develop specifications for new equipment in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Engage with suppliers to discuss equipment requests and negotiate approvals.
  • Lead the design assessment process for new equipment and provide technical guidance.
  • Validate new equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Transfer equipment from other locations and verify its functionality.
  • Sustain a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies, systems, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Degree level qualified in a related field of study.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of automation systems.
