Part-time Sunday Sales Assistant

Cheesemonger (part-time, Sundays) at a local food retailer. Counter location in Dunnes Stores, Dublin 15.
">Responsibilities:- Sell cheese and other food items at the counter and concession walls; ensure products are displayed attractively and rotated.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment; assist customers with queries and product selections.
- Maintain knowledge of all products and their stories, pairings, and flavours.
- Descrive tastes, textures, and pairings; educate customers about artisan cheese and producers.
- Receive deliveries and organize storage; maintain accurate stock and signage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of Irish and European farmhouse cheese.
- HACCP training or awareness of food safety in retail.
- Interest in cheese and local, artisan foods; self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills; friendly and approachable personality.
