Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor

Job Description:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and provide guidance to customers on product ranges.
  • Maintain category management and merchandising standards within the Pharmacy as directed by management.
  • Offer product information and advice to customers, consulting with management as necessary.
  • Ensure effective stock control, including rotation, maintaining optimal levels, using correct suppliers, and verifying delivery details.
  • Provide professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with pharmacy customers.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable, assisting in all areas of the Pharmacy operation as required.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Fulfill requests for specific over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and recommending suitable alternatives, referring to a Pharmacist when necessary.
  • Adhere to security procedures and handle cash and receipts properly within the Pharmacy.
  • Keep the Pharmacy clean and tidy, promptly reporting any Health and Safety issues to the Manager.
  • Participate in training and development programs provided by the Pharmacy and proactively develop the job role.

  • Teamwork - Support other stakeholders within the pharmacy and across the network to achieve company goals.
  • Customer Focused - Exceed customer expectations by making community pharmacies the local destination of choice.
  • Assist in all areas of pharmacy operation as part of the team.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 1 year of experience in Pharmacy, Retail, or Hospitality.
  • Cashier experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion when handling customer queries and confidentiality of customer/patient information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
