This role involves leading the service of commercial HVAC systems in the Dublin/Columbus area, with occasional travel across the USA.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team as a lead test and balance field engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting certified testing, adjusting, and balancing of heating, cooling, ventilation, and heat transfer systems in new commercial retail, design-build, and public projects.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality services to our clients, ensuring their HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting site assessments and testing of HVAC systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing plans to adjust and balance HVAC systems to meet client requirements
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering or mechanical engineering technology (MET) or similar field
  • Excellent math, mechanical, and communication skills
  • Efficient computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
  • A willingness to travel Monday – Thursday (4-day work week), approximately 1-2 weeks per month
