Job Title: Senior Data Governance Business Partner.

Job Description:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the implementation of data governance standards, policies, and procedures within business operations. As a site expert on data governance, you will support the IOPS Data Governance and Integrity program. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
  • Implementing DG standards, policies, and procedures within allocated business areas.
  • Serving as the key contact for data governance, providing support and advice to allocated business units.
  • Engaging with business units on DG priorities and action plans.
  • Assessing current policies and processes in allocated business units and coordinating KPI achievement.
  • Conducting regular data audits and assessments to identify DG issues and work with business areas to prepare for DG auditing and inspections.
As part of the team, you will work closely with DG Business Partners, Technical Experts, and ECM Experts to deliver the DG plan and provide feedback for continuous improvement. You will also encourage a culture of quality and data governance within the organization, promoting its importance across all departments. Additionally, you will drive communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure effective DG practices. To achieve this, you will actively seek feedback and support initiatives designed to improve data quality and governance. This role requires leading or supporting initiatives to embed DG principles into the company's core values and everyday practices.
