A reputable construction entity in Northern Ireland seeks an accomplished Site Manager to spearhead their expansion.

About the Role
  • Initiate and oversee new-build housing projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution
  • Direct daily on-site operations, aligning activities with project plans and specifications for optimal efficiency
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel, maintaining productivity and quality standards through proactive management
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular site inspections to prevent hazards
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, proactively addressing any delays or issues to keep projects on track for timely delivery
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor material deliveries and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Maintain detailed records of site progress, incidents, and compliance documentation for accurate reporting

Key Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Site Manager on new-build housing projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget constraints
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety standards specific to residential developments
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), and First Aid at Work certification
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges efficiently
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software to track progress and manage resources
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure quality control and client satisfaction
