Maintaining Beautiful Outdoor Spaces

We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our external areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.
This role involves a range of tasks including emptying rubbish bins, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and monitoring the condition of our grounds. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the safe operation of light machinery such as leaf blowers, power washers, and small mowers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. Basic IT skills and knowledge of health and safety procedures are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our external areas.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins on a regular basis.
- Monitor the condition of our grounds and report any issues to management.
- Operate light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist in performing a preventive maintenance program.
- Fully competent in basic DIY and gardening skills.
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Basic IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
