Reliability Expert

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimisation of the site maintenance process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
  • Maintain and enhance the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program, including vibration, thermography, and predictive analyses, to support informed decision-making.
  • Analyse equipment history within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the effectiveness of all maintenance efforts and reduce regulatory concerns.
  • Optimise maintenance work to achieve efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of assets at optimal cost.
  • Benchmark other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques to drive innovation.
  • Implement digital solutions and SMART maintenance strategies to improve overall performance.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff to ensure that Predictive Maintenance (PdM) services meet key performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
  • +5 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in an industrial environment or within a specialist consultancy.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns.
  • CMMS knowledge highly desirable.
  • Experience with maintenance data analysis can be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
