Water Conservation Specialist

Green Schools Water Theme Officer
This role explores the theme of water in schools, where it comes from and where it goes. It also delves into the importance of healthy rivers and lakes and steps for sustainable living.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Organise and facilitate student events (workshops and training) · Train and support teachers with the implementation of the theme at their school · Promote and deliver the Water Ambassador programme to secondary school students to encourage student-led actions · Develop opportunities for collaborations with other teams and externally · Create educational resources for primary and secondary schools · Carry out Green Flag renewal visits to schools where required · Review and assess Green-Schools application forms for the Green Flag award · Assist with reporting including preparation of end of year report
