The position of Senior Analyst is a crucial role within the Quality Control Department. It requires an individual with strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and excellent teamwork abilities.

This Senior Analyst will be responsible for performing testing, reviewing, and releasing raw materials, intermediates, and APIs in the Quality Control Laboratory. The laboratory operates under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years' experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment, is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and review quality control testing on raw materials, intermediates, and APIs.
  • Provide technical support for instrumentation and analytical methodologies.
  • Deliver coaching and training on analytical instrumentation and methodology.
  • Plan and approve materials to meet shipping and production timelines.
  • Coordinate and lead laboratory/site investigations.

Analytical techniques utilized include classical methods such as Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, and Karl Fischer titration. Modern techniques employed are High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry, and wet chemistry.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytical Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in a pharma/GMP environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills, flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively.

  • Experience with Operational Excellence, Lean Labs, 5S, and Yellow Belt projects.
  • Support for sub-teams such as Safety, Equipment, Audit Readiness.
