Executive Manager - Manufacturing Operations

Job Description:

The Executive Manager - Manufacturing Operations will play a key role in the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies to achieve business objectives. This executive will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Upstream and Downstream manufacturing facilities, ensuring production timelines are met while maintaining high quality standards.

This senior leader will provide technical oversight to teams and coaching to associate staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively. The Executive Manager - Manufacturing Operations will also serve as a liaison between the manufacturing teams and other functional groups, such as Quality Control and Assurance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the Upstream and Downstream manufacturing facilities, ensuring production timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Provide technical oversight to teams and coaching to associate staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between the manufacturing teams and other functional groups, such as Quality Control and Assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSc in a scientific or engineering discipline is required.
  • Masters level qualifications is advantageous.
  • More than 15 years experience in a cGMP biological manufacturing environment with previous experience managing and/or leading functional and project teams.
