Production Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective site equipment performance metrics to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Drive proactive maintenance strategies, reducing reactive workloads and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, planning systems, and resource allocation to optimize business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop maintenance technicians, providing training and development opportunities to enhance technical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that drive business value.
About You:
  • Trade-qualified or third-level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including refrigeration, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems, lean principles, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
