Food Service Assistant

This role is for an individual who can provide exceptional food service experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of food, including setting up venues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and create memorable experiences for guests.
  • Clean and maintain dishes, utensils, cleaning equipment and kitchen areas using professional standards.
  • Ensure a clean and organized kitchen and service areas at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and use a proactive approach to manage inventory.
  • Practice high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Residing in Ireland, within commuting distance from Waterford area, holding a valid work permit.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Food Safety and HACCP certification.
  • Passion for food service with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and multitask.
