Job Title:

Credit Controller - Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our operations team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function and associated administrative duties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers for payment and continue to chase until paid.
  • Liaise with representatives when accounts become overdue or hit credit limits.
  • Participate in weekly debtors meetings with management and sales reps to review accounts.
  • Review and collate weekly/monthly reports.
  • Open new accounts, obtain credit reference agency reports, and trade references etc.
  • Issue overcharge credits.
  • Liaise with relevant staff to resolve customer disputes/queries.
  • Complete paperwork for small claims.
  • Perform associated admin duties such as cash management, including Brinks collections, managing high volumes of emails/phone calls, scanning/filing, and stock management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, including an accounts computerized system.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Experience of meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
