Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Our organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building control regulations and managing ISO standards across offices and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BC(A)R Coordination
    • Coordinate with certifiers at all stages of construction projects, ensuring timely submission of notices and inspection plans.
    • Manage certification documentation and maintain records of inspection reports, site diaries, photos, and product certificates.
    • Oversee the completion and submission of Ancillary Certificates and the Certificate of Compliance on Completion.
  • ISO Coordination (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety)
    • Ensure ISO compliance across offices and sites, preparing for external audits and conducting internal QEHS and CDE audits.
    • Manage registers and report findings, supporting meetings and surveys as needed.
  • Tendering & Prequalification
    • Complete BC(A)R-related questionnaires for tenders and prequalifications, showcasing our company's expertise in quality management.
  • Support for Further ISO Certifications
    • Contribute to achieving additional certifications including ISO 27001 (Cyber Security), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and ISO 19650 (BIM).
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Quality, Environmental, Project Management, Construction, or other relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience coordinating BC(A)R compliance within the construction industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with certifiers, subcontractors, and suppliers, utilizing digital platforms and software such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Procore, and Smartsheet.
