Job Overview
Our team seeks a Senior Psychologist to deliver high-quality psychological support to adults with intellectual disabilities in North Kildare and Dublin.
- Provide specialist psychology services across the region.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support service users, families, and frontline staff.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored interventions for ongoing support.
- Engage in research, service evaluation, and supervision of junior psychologists or trainees.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A relevant university degree (Level 8 equivalent) with honours, and an Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- At least five years' experience as a professional psychologist, including training and full-time practice.
- Proven ability to work effectively with adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
They will be a competent and compassionate practitioner, able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality services.
