Strategic Data Leader

This is a hands-on, client-facing role at the centre of project delivery, people leadership, and strategic growth. You will work directly with clients to oversee the delivery of complex, high-impact data projects spanning cloud platforms, pipelines, governance, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a senior leader and escalation point on key client projects focusing on delivering exceptional results.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders ensuring timely delivery excellence and satisfaction.
  3. Oversee resource allocation and forward planning across multiple projects to drive success.
  4. Lead and mentor cross-functional data teams engineering, analytics, and governance to achieve project goals.
  5. Take full responsibility for project outcomes including scope, budget, and commercial management.
  6. Provide technical oversight and review across data design, architecture, and implementation to ensure quality standards are met.
  7. Support the growth and performance of your team through coaching, reviews, and career development.
  8. Act as a key member of the leadership team contributing to client strategy and delivery standards.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years experience in data roles including 5+ at senior leadership level.
  2. Strong consulting background ideally with experience in the Irish market.
  3. Proven record leading enterprise data programmes or large-scale platform delivery.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
  5. Deep understanding of modern data architectures cloud, lakehouse, integration frameworks.
  6. Solid grasp of data governance privacy, and regulatory frameworks e.g. GDPR DQ.
  7. Experience managing budgets vendor relationships, and delivery teams.
  8. Ability to prioritize context-switch, and remain calm under pressure.
  9. Passion for building inclusive collaborative, high-trust teams.
  10. Based in Dublin with hybrid work arrangement.
