Investment Operations Team Lead

SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd. seeks an experienced Investment Operations Team Lead to oversee our Alternative Funds operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily processing requirements for various Alternative Funds, providing support to the Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Financial Reporting Departments. This role involves maintaining loan asset master information on the Geneva Fund Accounting system, reviewing and processing bank debt-related activities, and communicating with investment managers and accounting teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan asset master information on the Geneva Fund Accounting system.
  • Process bank debt-related activities, including pay-downs, borrowings, interest payments, rate resets, and rollovers using WSO and Geneva systems.
  • Communicate effectively with investment managers and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Provide regular reporting as required, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
  • Maintain static level data across various platforms to ensure transparency in administrative services and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement solutions to enhance SEI's outsourcing services.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring seamless implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Resolve queries, problems, and errors in a timely manner, documenting all actions taken.
  • Foster effective communication between departments in Dublin and the U.S.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal units within SEI.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established departmental procedures and controls.
  • Contribute to projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Aid in training new team members.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in fund operations, with expertise in alternatives/hedge funds.
  • Knowledge of Geneva and/or similar fund accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with bank debt processing functionality using Geneva, WSO, etc.
  • Understanding of syndicated or private debt loan markets.
  • Knowledge of various security types.
  • Degree in business, finance, or IT-related field desirable.
