Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses leading and managing finance operations, encompassing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, pensions, banking, taxation, general ledger, and systems administration. Ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and month/year-end close are also key responsibilities.

  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
  • Strengthen and monitor internal controls to guarantee compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and statutory obligations to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Drive efficiency, automation, and transformation of financial systems and processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements

Applicants should possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) accompanied by a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • 10+ years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role, is required.
  • Experience managing shared services and delivering finance transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Strong ERP systems knowledge, preferably with experience in Sun, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, is essential.
  • Proven track records in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement are necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are critical for effective performance.
  • ESG reporting experience is considered an asset.
