The role of a Residential Care Assistant at GRACE N CARE LLC is to provide support and care to children and young people in our residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a level 7 qualification or above in Social Care, Social Work, Health and Social, or related fields.
We are seeking an experienced and caring individual who can work in partnership with our team to ensure the physical, psychological, social, and emotional needs of our residents are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop a therapeutic relationship with the young people, ensuring their needs are met.
- Accompany residents to appointments and activities as required.
- Participate in daily handovers, team meetings, and other relevant discussions.
- Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Level 7 qualification or above in Social Care, Social Work, Health and Social, or related fields.
- Full clean driving license.
- Experience working with children and young people in care or residential settings desirable.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
