Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Lead Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work on various projects across the Island of Ireland, ensuring thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts, coordinating design activities, and working collaboratively with clients and teams to deliver project scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts for assigned projects
  • Coordinate design activities and outputs on multiple projects across Water or Wastewater PCI and PDI
  • Act as the primary point of contact for dealing with issues related to project portfolios
  • Collaborate within the ECI structure with clients, technical assurance, employers' representatives, and operations to deliver project scope
  • Provide timely updates to senior management on design output progress, including effects on workshop dates, procurement, cost forecasts, and variations
  • Obtain commitments from scope performers and track against baselines to manage delays and maximize opportunities
  • Administer necessary documentation via approved systems (e.g., BIM 360, process workflows)
  • Monitor and control projects, adhering to project programs
  • Manage procurement sheets
  • Identify risks to design activities/outputs and notify clients to prepare early warnings, claims, variations, and final cost cap agreements
  • Identify and manage opportunities to influence positive change and improvements in the design process and wider team
  • Liaise with the project team, including Programme Manager, Designers, Drafting team, and H&S Manager, to ensure all H&S requirements are satisfied
  • Collaborate with the project team to motivate and fully understand the extent and timeline for their outputs
