Job Role Overview

This is a key position in our Water Environment Team, focused on enhancing the resilience of public water supply and reducing wastewater treatment infrastructure impact.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional to deliver water resource management, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, drainage and flood mitigation, and climate impact assessment projects.
  • You will be responsible for managing projects, maintaining client relationships, assisting with winning work and developing new business within the water environment team.
  • The role involves providing technical guidance, support and training to junior colleagues.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geography or another related discipline with strong hydrology or hydraulics focus.
  • Several years experience in hydrology, flood risk and/or drainage, preferably in consultancy background.
  • Significant technical experience in areas including Flood Risk Assessments, Hydraulic Modelling, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) principles and design, and Hydrological Modelling.
Requirements Details:
  • Skills in hydraulic and hydrological modelling, factual and interpretative reporting, data management, analysis and presentation of results.
