Purchasing and Logistics Professional

As a Purchasing and Logistics Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our supply chain. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting purchasing activities, managing supplier communications, and coordinating logistics and freight for both domestic and international deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising and Processing Purchase Orders: You will be responsible for raising and processing purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner, liaising with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Supplier Management: You will manage supplier communications, track incoming shipments, and ensure on-time delivery by escalating delays as needed.
  • Logistics Coordination: You will coordinate logistics and freight for both domestic and international deliveries, maintaining accurate records of purchases, delivery notes, and supplier performance.
  • Stock Management: You will support stock management by monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock reconciliations, working closely with finance to ensure accurate invoice matching and approval.
  • Customs Documentation: You will assist with customs documentation and import procedures when required, identifying cost-saving opportunities in purchasing and logistics without compromising service or quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or logistics support role (minimum 1-2 years ideal).
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a team-focused mindset.
