Site Coordinator Job Description\

Key to the success of our roofing and cladding projects is a skilled Site Coordinator. This individual plays a pivotal role in ensuring day-to-day delivery of installations on-site, while utilizing digital tools to track progress and facilitate communication across the project team.

Responsibilities include:

\
  • Coordinate labour, materials, documentation, and subcontractors to meet programme milestones.
  • Evaluate work output quality and budget expectations against site activities.
  • Manage logistics, sequencing, and daily operations through effective communication with key stakeholders.
\Labour & Resource Oversight\
  • Supervise direct and subcontracted site labour to ensure high-quality work meets client expectations.
  • Monitor labour levels to align with budgetary costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Onboard new site personnel and ensure proper induction and submission of necessary documents.
\Programme & Reporting\
  • Record and report significant site events affecting programmes or costs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Notify management of material requirements proactively to prevent delays and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a detailed Daily Site Diary, logging labour numbers, weather conditions, progress, and key events - uploaded to Procore daily.
\Procore & Digital Documentation\
  • Ensure all project records, drawings, QA checklists, photos, and site documentation are regularly updated and stored on Procore.
  • Conduct daily briefings and coordination meetings with site teams to update lookahead plans and progress trackers.
  • Collaborate with commercial and design teams to resolve issues and maintain current digital records.
\Health & Safety\
  • Promote and enforce high H&S standards across site operations; act as on-site H&S lead.
  • Ensure RAMS adherence, PPE usage, permits in place, and working practices compliant with legislation.
  • Instil a safety-aware culture and intervene where necessary to prevent unsafe conditions.
\Quality Control & Material Management\
  • Oversee quality of works on site to ensure compliance with roofing installation standards.
  • Inspect materials received on-site for quality; reject and report any defective or substandard goods.
  • Verify flashing, air seals, and other details installed correctly and recorded for QA handover.

Requirements include:

\
  • 5+ years of site experience in roofing and cladding, preferably with team lead or supervisor experience.
  • Proven ability to manage trades, enforce programmes, and deliver high-quality installations.
  • Working knowledge of construction drawings, sequencing, QA processes, and H&S regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in both site coordination and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar digital construction platforms.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland and/or Europe.
