Business Analytics Lead

Senior Manager Position

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  2. Manage Embedded Analytics projects, including CDS and Fiori applications, ensuring adherence to S/4HANA business processes.
  3. Develop and optimize data models in SAP HANA Cloud and BW4HANA to support reporting and analytics needs.
  4. Utilize Datasphere to integrate and manage data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  5. Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Analytics Cloud and Power BI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  7. Provide expertise in SAP analytics technologies, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements.
  8. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to enhance their understanding of analytics tools and capabilities.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to analytics solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  10. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.

Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position.
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP analytics technologies, with a strong focus on SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud Modelling, SAP BW4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Embedded Analytics, and S/4HANA business processes.
  • Proficiency in frontend tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere and basic knowledge of SAP Business data cloud and Azure Databricks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients.
  • Experience in project management and leading analytics initiatives is a plus.
