Headhunt International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to lead our team at Dublin North Nursing Home. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care services.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in elderly care, with a minimum of 3 years experience working with older people within the last six years of their career. They will also hold a 3rd level Healthcare management qualification and be actively registered with NMBI. As a senior manager, they will possess excellent people management skills, able to lead and motivate staff, anticipate staffing needs, and clarify individual roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work outside of standard protocol when necessary, embracing organisational change and initiatives, and communicating benefits of change to others. The ideal candidate will be able to bring new ideas/initiatives to fruition, act quickly to address urgent matters, demonstrate lateral thinking, and understand how decisions might affect others.
In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will have a wide general nursing experience, proven leadership qualities, and competent IT skills. They will also be knowledgeable about caring for people with dementia and have evidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledge.
We are looking for someone who can multi-task without losing focus, manage competing and changing priorities, ensure effective allocation and use of resources, and anticipate problems taking preventative action.
