We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to lead our Financial Control team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial processes, reporting and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the completion of centralized processes and procedures
  • Responsible for daily accounting, administration and oversight to support the financial accounts production process
  • Complete the production of monthly management accounts for multiple legal entities
  • Manage the preparation of reconciliations and ensure all documentation and accounting is completed in line with corporate requirements and policies
  • Produce month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of financial results
  • Completion of annual statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities
  • Lead change management and work with the EMEA Financial Control team to implement standardised process improvements identified in day-to-day activities

This role requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have several years post qualified experience in a multi-currency financial services environment.

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Qualified accountant (preferable ACA / ACCA) with several years post qualified experience in a multi-currency financial services environment preferred
  • Experienced background in a corporate financial control environment with a sound knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements as well as statutory and audit requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team in the region and as part of the broader EMEA Finance team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve
  • Flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines and variable workloads
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders across multiple locations
