We are seeking a skilled catering professional to fill this role.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in some of Ireland's largest healthcare settings and nursing homes. The successful candidate will be required to join a motivated catering team, working from the pantry, serving food at ward level, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up catering units/wards for daily service
  • Working from the pantry, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and teas
  • Day-to-day cleaning of catering units and kitchens
  • Taking patients' orders and uploading into the system
  • Serving food at ward level
  • Probing food and recording temperatures
  • Cleaning the pantry and setting up for the next day
  • Following all dietary requirements
  • Working as part of the catering team and following instructions from management
  • Food preparation and presentation while working in hospital canteens
  • Foollowing all HACCP procedures
Requirements
  • At least three years' experience working in a hospital/nursing home catering setting or commercial background
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Ability to adapt to working in new healthcare catering environments
  • Two working references with a minimum of two years each provided
  • Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions
  • Flexibility with working hours
