**Job Description:**

We are looking for experienced Social Care Practitioners to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people and their parents across Ireland.

As a Social Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting in completing individual evidence-based parenting capacity assessments in line with the Framework for Assessment of Children in Need and their Families and the Safeguarding Children Assessment and Analysis Framework.

You will also participate in the implementation of 12-week placement plans for families residing in Ballyowen Meadows. Additionally, you will conduct observations that are evidence-based and recorded to a high standard in line with the center policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver intervention programmes as appropriate to the role e.g. HOPE Modules, Family Assessment tools (interview, tasks, scales, questionnaires)and support programmes that promote the basic care, safety and developmental wellbeing of children and young people in the care of their parents
  • To plan and undertake one-to-one therapeutic programmes with children, young people and parents that are aimed at supporting positive parenting, supports reflective parenting practices, enhances the parent-child relationships, and addresses any behavioural and emotional difficulties

Requirements:

  • CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and registration (evidence required)
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieve quality results and providing a quality service

Salary Range: Competitive, starting at €32,456 - €47,944
