Senior Supervisor Design Quality Assurance Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Supervisor to lead our Design Quality Assurance team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all design changes comply with regulatory requirements and maintaining an effective quality system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design assurance, risk management, and standards compliance. They will be responsible for providing technical and quality systems input to the R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Risk, Medical Safety, and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading projects to support and post-market surveillance, quality, compliance, material continuity, and design Value Improvement Projects (VIPs)
  • Ensuring all design changes are compliant with associated regulations and procedures
  • Providing coaching and development support within their reporting structure

The successful candidate will have a NFQ Level 8 qualification in a STEM discipline and at least 6 years' experience in the industry. They will also have strong leadership, problem-solving, technical capabilities, communication, and collaboration skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NFQ Level 8 qualification in a STEM discipline
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in the industry; Design Assurance experience desirable
  • Experience in areas such as design control, risk management, design change, and standards compliance
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, technical capabilities, communication, and collaboration skills
